This project is located on Lesperance Road, between St. Denis Street and Tecumseh
Road East, in the Town of Tecumseh. The VIA Rail improvements are located at Mile
99.31 Chatham Subdivision.
The work to be carried out under this Contract shall include the furnishing of all labour,
supervision, plant and materials necessary to carry out the following:
a) Road restoration including curb and gutter including asphalt pathways and
sidewalks.
b) The construction of a storm sewer and appurtenances.
c) The construction of joint utility infrastructure including joint use trench, jack and
bore of two steel casings across the VIA Rail Right-of-Way and installation of
access chambers.
d) Streetscape of the boulevards including concrete pavement restoration, soil
cells, fencing, plantings and furnishings.
e) Installation of streetlighting and Wi-Fi infrastructure.
f) All restoration.
g) Miscellaneous works.
h) All as shown on the Contract Drawings and described hereinafter or as may
otherwise be directed by the Engineer.
